“May is the month of expectation, the month of wishes, the month of hope.” - Emily Brontë Dear Readers, Mental health is a dynamic process – and at times, it takes new impulses to set meaningful change in motion. At OVID Day Clinic, this very transformation lies at the core of our work: through intensive, individualized care, contemporary therapeutic approaches, and innovative methods such as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and virtual reality-based interventions. In this newsletter, you will find updates on the launch of the new OVID website, the freshly released OVID Clinic Magazine, a recent scientific publication from our team – and details on upcoming events where the OVID Day Clinic will be present in the weeks ahead. Thank you for your interest – and enjoy reading. The team of the OVID Day Clinic Berlin Our New Website Informative, clearly structured, and close to current developments: the new OVID website is now online. Let’s Connect – Upcoming Events The OVID Day Clinic will be present at the following events: In the Media A new paper on psilocybin-assisted therapy by Prof. Dr. Gerhard Gründer, Dr. Henrik Jungaberle, and colleagues from the MIND Foundation – now published in Der Nervenarzt: Read the full article “Only when we carry and transform our pain can something new emerge.” - Food for thought from our head physician Life inevitably involves encounters with pain and injury. None of us go through it without some form of “collision damage.” In the best case, these are just scratches and dents – but for many, the wounds run deeper. Experiences from the past can leave scaring that makes it difficult to embrace joy, connection, and vitality. A life built around pain, however, can lead to unconscious repetition of harmful patterns and block access to more emotional well-being. This is where psychotherapy comes into play: it offers support in facing one’s inner struggles and transforming them. With the presence of a therapist who does is not scared off by despair andemotional intensity – but instead provides calm, compassionate support – patients are empowered to take steps toward inner peace and happiness. Because only when pain is acknowledged and integrated can true healing begin. And this path does not have to be walked alone. Dr. med. Andrea Jungaberle Head Physician at OVID Clinic
